FEATURE STORY: Project Highlights

We are hearing exciting news from Shibwe, where a big parcel of land is being purchased to expand the health facility. All the work that has been done by many of us has influenced the work of this health facility and made its growth a reality. With the expansion of the female inpatient ward, there has been pressure from the numbers of patients coming to the hospital and the collections from the cost sharing aspect. This has pushed the Government of Kenya and other partners at Shibwe into action. Learn more here >>.

This quote has motivated and inspired me in my days work. This work is not easy and we need to share the talents that we have. There are so many opportunities in life that many of us don’t see, but once you recognize these opportunities and put everything in place you remember that someone is benefiting from what you and I are doing. The question remains “Has this program changed you, motivated you, or inspired you?” We have to say all is sawa sawa if you are truly thinking globally after you have been in this program.
