Shika Adabu Bamako Initiative
For a long time FSD had not placed interns with the Shika Adabu Bamako Initiative (SBCI), but last summer we sent them an intern, Kesaya Baba, to work there for five months. This came at a time when SBCI had minimal funding and therefore they did not have many activities planned. We have seen similar situations at so many of our partner organizations in the last two years, and for many of these organisations this is the time they could really use the skills and services of an intern.
