La Casita works to empower the
economically marginalized families in Gorina by
providing free childcare, educational activities, and micro-enterprise support.
Its goals are to:
- Provide social and
educational development opportunities for children and adolescents
- Offer daily nutritional
meals for children
- Teach continuing
educational subjects, such as English and computer science, to community
members
- Develop
capacity-building workshops for vocational education, including
bread-making and computer training
- Support micro-enterprise initiatives for the

Organization Objectives
The Anzaldo Department of
Education aims to provide high-quality education to the inhabitants of the
- Aid students in acquiring primary, secondary, and higher
education
- Promote equal access to education
- Draw more teachers to the 52 schools
- Find funding to reconstruct destroyed school houses,
construct boarding homes for children who live kilometers from their
corresponding school, and provide meals for the children
- Provide extracurricular and summer programs for
students
- Develop an academic curriculum that is sustainable based
on resources available to Anzaldo
